 I am a stay-at-home business-owning mother of four boys and wife.  My hobbies include writing, self-help, psychology, singing, cycling, hiking and swimming.

I grew up in a dysfunctional family and have a great life and family in spite of it.  I am a survivor of severe childhood abuse.  Anyone who says that people who have been abused as children can't live a full and productive life.... well let's just say I would have to disagree.  It's not what we have been handed that matters.  It's what we choose to do with what we are.  No one can ever take your potential away from you.  I believe that we are all powerful beyond belief and that our Creator has given us the ability to choose what we will do with this power.  There is no one who can damage or diminish this for anyone else, no matter what they do.
